Sussex-based graphic designer and typography enthusiast Tony Seddon explores the history of 100 influential typefaces and their technical design processes in his book, titled The Evolution of Type, chronicling the early days of metal type up until today’s digital fonts.

Published in August 2015, the book provides an extensive, graphic roundup of historic typefaces that uncovers their date and country of origin, classification and designers, drawing attention to the various interesting font aspects that distinguish them from the pack.
